Have You Ever Needed a Miracle?
People from our 6:30pm service were still dotted around the room at 10pm in prayer and worship. Some people were standing, others kneeled, and some were seated on the floor, or even lying, with a sort of awe and reverence.
God's presence was tangible, and there was an air of weighty-delight in the room.
Young people were locked into the moment without fanfare or cheerleading from the platform. In fact, the singers, musicians, and speakers were all in similar postures of worship before God—there was little instruction from the microphone.
I'm describing this past Sunday's service, and our whole team is still stunned by what happened. We give God praise, and we continue to ask for more.
When a person is marked with an undeniable awareness of the reality of God, they are never the same.
Over an hour before the scenes I've described, Joe taught on unity, which builds a dwelling place for God. His teaching text was from Ephesians chapter two, and it was such a powerful revelation for our congregation that they responded with almost visible hunger for God.
Now for the miracle part . . .
