News and Updates from Spring 2022
Here are Spring highlights of how your support and prayers have fueled ministry here in the UK over the past two months.
Although we’ve only listed five areas below, we wish there was space to share about our men’s retreat, new season of house meetings, and more!
second location launch
This September, we’re launching a second location right on the grounds of The University of Manchester. We held our first one-off service there in May, and were amazed at the response. There was tangible hunger for God, and the altars filled with young people giving their whole-hearted yes to follow Jesus wherever he leads.
First Women's conference
The Ramp UK team joined with Karen Wheaton, Lauren Bentley, and Lindsey Doss to host over 300 women for a weekend of pursuing God.
Here’s an encouraging message we received after the event:
This weekend the Lord did such a work in me; my life will never be the same, I know it. He brought direction where it was needed, freedom from fear but not only that, the mind of Christ. I feel forever changed, and I felt so loved. God bless you all. Thank you.
Love, Janine
University panel
We were invited to join a panel discussion on Christianity hosted at The University of Manchester. Topics ranged from relationships and sexuality to theology and church attendance. It was challenging and very rewarding. We spent time afterwards talking one-on-one with students interested and searching for a deeper understanding of God.
New house
We’re thrilled to be purchasing our first home in the UK. What an answer to prayer (thank you for your prayers!) after many moves and years of renting. We’re excited about the sense of permanence this brings to our family here in Manchester.
Genuine hospitality
As a family, we’ve enjoyed opening our home throughout the week to host dinners. Practicing hospitality is not only fun and refreshing, but it helps us experience the joy of Jesus’s promise in Mark 10:29 and 30:
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”
We pray for you, for the Lord’s blessing and provision over you and your family. Let us know how we can be praying for you by emailing us.
Thank you for believing with us for a move of God in every nation.
Blessings,
Joe & Stacie
