In Europe's Poorest Country

I think God delights in setting us up in circumstances that keep us seeking Him out. The curveballs that come are good reminders that I'm following a Person—I'm devoted to Jesus—not just an assignment or revealed plan. Plans work in straight lines. God . . . not so much.

When life throws me a curveball, I find encouragement in praying this verse:

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
Psalm 63:8

As you follow hard after Jesus, His right hand upholds you during every unexpected turn.

Now, an update. . . .

Living in the UK has been a great joy and fulfilled desire (I do miss our family, friends, and church, though. . . . We’re no super-humans! :-D). I'm honoured and thrilled to be part of reaching the youth and children of Moldova and preventing the horrors of sex trafficking by caring for orphans—those most vulnerable to traffickers. The staff has been incredibly welcoming and supportive, and I'm so thankful for our growing relationships with each of them.

Joe, the girls, and I are in Moldova from 13 July through 13 August, assessing the needs of the organisation we’re with, pouring into leaders, missionaries, young people, and children and dreaming together of a bright future for Moldova—a move of God among the beautiful people here.

This trip is critical for the success and future of these ministries. There are continued opportunities to expand in the UK and the Mediterranean, and it’s exciting to be part of God’s plans for reaching the world’s most neglected.

I’d love to keep in touch via Facebook and Instagram, where I'll be posting updates during this trip. Let’s stay connected!
