A new year doesn't always start the way you think it will . . . and well, ours started with a round of Covid. Three of our family of five were ill. Just days away from our trip to America to spend Christmas with family before heading to minister at Winter Ramp conference, we were bummed.
I am sitting here enjoying some rare and wonderful warm weather and sunshine in Scotland. We have just returned from Manchester, where we found a home for our family and a place for our future new friends to congregate with us!
I think God delights in setting us up in circumstances that keep us seeking Him out. The curveballs that come are good reminders that I'm following a Person—I'm devoted to Jesus—not just an assignment or revealed plan.
