It’s Monday! For many of us, that means back to work. I’ve learned that if I don’t enjoy working, I won’t enjoy much of life . . . since most of life is work. Here is some good news about our work.
My theme right now is resilience. If my life is the Lord's painting and He is the artist, resilience is the colour He has been mixing through circumstances and challenges to help bring out the Jesus-image in me.
Some things the Lord is gently speaking to me about:
The friendship of the Holy Spirit . . . After quietly crying myself to sleep one night (So pathetic! I think it was a hormone and homesick combo.), the Lord ministered to me strongly and clearly in the night.
I think God delights in setting us up in circumstances that keep us seeking Him out. The curveballs that come are good reminders that I'm following a Person—I'm devoted to Jesus—not just an assignment or revealed plan.
